Where's That Confounded Bridge?....The Tai Chi Folks Weigh In.

TheStand-UpPremier
NotYukYuk'sVille

And it would appear the Tai Chi folks are not particularly happy with our fine premier and the latest of her so-called 'jokes':

The Taoist Tai Chi Society has contacted Premier Christy Clark’s office, asking for a statement to clarify that the Society is in no way involved with a controversy over a yoga event on Vancouver’s Burrard Bridge.

The premier on Thursday tweeted a photo of herself posing in front of a Taoist Tai Chi® location, with a caption that said: “Hey Yoga Haters – bet you can’t wait for international Tai Chi day.”

The tweet and ensuing media coverage have led to members of the public contacting us to ask what the Society’s connection is with the premier and the yoga event. In fact, there is no connection.

“We would like to make clear that we were unaware that this photo had been taken or that the premier had even stopped by our location, which was closed at the time,” Jim Nicholson, a BC spokesman for Fung Loy Kok Taoist Tai Chi, said Friday...

_______
Just in case you missed it...The photo-op assisted effort that threw the Tai Chi folks under the bus post #OmTheBridge can be seen....Here.
Other  so-called 'joke' sessions involving the good Ms. Clark from days of yore?....How about is one from a 'pre-Drex 'n the MILF' session with another set of 'shock jocks' entirely...

Maybe she can manage to alienate every voter in the province. It's not as if there's any evidence she's going to learn to shut her mouth.

karen--

I'm sure there is more than a wizard or two who actually think that they've done a great job here by getting the health care worker abomination off the front pages, both here and farther afield.

Looks like our buddy Keef broke the 3 Chardonnay rule with his late Saturday night tweet in defence of his darling Premier against her "hysterical" opponents:

Everyone lost something in the Yoga Bridge debacle: Christy Clark, her hysterical enemies, and Vancouver's reputation. #bcpoli

Christy Clark and her "ideas" are the antithesis of Tai Chi.

poor Keith. Vancouver's reputation? like give me a break. well perhaps it didn't do much for B.c's reputation to close a major bridge for a yoga event, but opening it up for traffic, nice touch.

Keith just doesn't get it. I do wonder what he is being paid to react the way he does many times. so mindless, so Keith, so twit.

If Christy can put out a few more "twittie tweets like the Tai Chi comments, we might be able to get rid of her before the next election. It so clearly demonstrates how stupid she is.

"getting rid of her before the next election" has a nice ring to it, but a reasonable person might ask "and replace her with who".
Our Political system is corrupt through and through.
Pause for a moment and ask yourself, when was the last time a Member of ANY Opposition Party or Critic stood up, faced the Electorate and stated emphatically " WE have Never done that, nor WILL WE", while attacking a sitting Government Member.
Oh that's right..................
never.

O.K. that is a very good question: replace her with who.

Is there anyone in the B.C. Lieberal caucus who could take over and make B.C. a better place? is there someone in caucus who is opposed to child poverty and willing to do something. Is their any one in caucus who might want to really deal with the shootings in surrey, i.e. talk to Ottawa about more police officers NOW.

Without their speaking notes most of the cabinet would be lost. So they don't know how to do their jobs, their hired staff are in fact doing the work. The current crop of B.C. Lieberals have only hired like minded mindless ones. they weren't even smart enough to hire smart people and let them do the jobs.

So where do we go from here? Who knows because I haven't seen too many NDP MLAs get out front of the crime spree in Surrey and lay out the NDP plan either. Now it maybe that the MSM won't carry the information, but I haven't seen anything on their websites either or in their e-mails or in the local newspapers.

Everyone is just waiting to see when this blows over. its just so easy to blame people of colour for all the crime, but a lot of that crime was out there when Surrey was more a "white" area than an area of colour. Did anything get done? Not so much. But as the population grew so did the crime rate and the crime kept up with the times, so the nature of the crime and how criminals handled themselves changed also. today we have a problem. It isn't going away and we have Christy and her cabal until 2017. Don't count on them to do anything, they are too busy with photo ops, yoga, LNG, liquor, and plastic surgeons.

There maybe another dynamic at play here. if I'm not mistaken the ridings are NDP. So why would the B.C. Lieberals do anything about the crime and that goes for the mayor and her mess also. More closely aligned with B.C. Lieberals than any other party, except perhaps the federal Cons. Those Cons can give the Hell's angels a run for their money when it comes to in jail, under investigation, number of charges, on trial, etc. so why would we expect any number of young people to be any different. We elected these politicians so of course young people think its o.k. to be a criminal, just look a the politicians.

Do you think that the Premier's home riding of West Bank will be throwing down the yoga mats, shutting down the William Richard Bennett Bridge for seven hours this Sunday morning? and the slurs from the cur's tweeting lips
