My Morning Ride...Nonsensical Graffiti.

SomewhatPhysical

Taken at 16th and MacDonald in near western Lotusland.

And, unless I'm missing something, it would appear that the graffiti makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

  1. Ok, interesting. I have seen the Obama graffiti in a few places now and on all sorts of things. From those electrical and/or phone line junction boxes to traffic management dividers. Someone’s trying to bring back political sanity? Build a buzz?
The other name I have seen for years now, in different nonsensical places and usually accompanied by what looks like an upside down crown is the name
    Joan Cusack. Yeah, I dunno.

As Carsenio would say, "That's weird, wild stuff."

  2. I see the similarity. Anticipated with much promise and hype, went on longer than needed, but despite all the filler managed to be memorable in parts.

    1. Definitely. But not so far gone that they couldn't stylize the lettering.

  4. I think West Lotus land is in a temporal loop, always repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

  5. What the sign did for me was to search to see if there's a connection between Obama and the store fronts of the 'Vancouver Chamber Music Society' and 'Fine Strings Vancouver Inc.'; https://www.vancouverchambermusic.com/ and
    https://www.finestringsvancouver.com/

Alas, 'Barack Obama is known to enjoy music and is musically inclined, he is not a string instrument player'

  6. Forgive me RossK, I just can't leave without linking to the 'creators' of violins at, or connected to,

  8. Before that, it was a Liberal campaign office, probably "Air on a G-string" would be appropriate in both settings...

Possibility, I guess - but, again, the stylizing of the lettering...
