A good question why anyone would go there.
I haven’t been for about 35 years, and not likely I will.
I am very disappointed by any Canadian travelling to the US these days. Now that does not include the traitors we have here wanting to leave Canada or become American. I would love for them To go and not be allowed back.
BC has a 14 billion dollar deficit this year and 155 Billion debt. Our economy is going down the crapper, as companies are avoiding investing in BC, because of the uncertainties of UNDRIP and DRIPA, and the veto power given to the FN. How many more tens of billions of investment money gets swirled down the drain? Reconciliation is really untold billions of taxpayer dollars for reparations and the extinguishment of private property rights. Nobody voted for that; and you're totally ignoring all of this. Sheesh.
Hey evil eye, back off the rhetoric and fake hand wringing and step away from the ledge. Everything is going to be fine. Fortunately for us the First Nations of our land are not nearly as nasty, back stabbing, and think only of money like us settlers do. I’m sure an agreement that mostly favours the folks who originally came from elsewhere will be reached. That we have a lot of evening up and making fair to do os on us not First Nations.
As do Chuck and DS I too am not going to the US, I was born there, and I also don’t get why anyone would unless they absolutely had too for work or family reasons. The day before the last election I said to my wife that we should go for a drive down to Mt. Baker as we may not want to after the election.
