....The BC Liberal Party wants to change their name?
Who really knows what is on the minds those pushing the buttons of their animatronic spear carrier from VanQuadra.
But it was an interesting point raised by Sean Holman's rabble-rousers this morning.
And what happens if, after the LINOs become 'The CLAP' party party, somebody else comes along and just steals.....errrr....takes the Liberal name right back again.

I've always considered it an affront to liberalism for the reincarnated SoCreds to wrap themselves in the mantle of the BC Liberal Party.
Heh. Liberal. Flag of convenience. Seems to've worked well for them for a decade, though.
Why would anyone be in a hurry to borrow the Liberal label post-May 2nd? Surely the federal results are the main reason the provincial coalition wants rid of the title.
Maybe they should apologise to the real Liberals like Gordon Wilson who revived the brand after decades and from whom they stole the name. Other than that they were always known across Canada as BC's Redneck Liberals. Nothing Liberal there.
