The lid to the long sealed GordCo, Inc. crypt creaks open and who should pop out but...

Cookie Dough Mike!

Good grief.

Ross, the strata insurance problem surely is not only a difficulty in BC. How are other provinces dealing with this problem, because I haven't heard much in other Canadian media?

As for de Jong, I could never understand how this devious character could get elected. He committed many misdeeds during the faux liberal's reign. I suppose Abbotsford is BC's Bible Belt and they will elect anyone who pretends to a christian, even if they lack christian values. RG

Great point about other jurisdictions RG.

Regarding retail politics in the valley, I suspect that your second point is even more true for the very fine MLA from Chilliwack.

I very much appreciate your views on a myriad of topics Ross, but you may have been thinking about that equally unsavoury land owner, huckster, and ex-MLA John Les. Mike de Jong, who followed Gordon Campbell's crafty former City Administrator's directive, by not writing anything down. This allowed him to use that infamous plausable deniability perspective. RG

The Winning Provinces with the highest damage is NOT British Columbia, but that doesn't matter to the insurance companies because they can, and do, recoup their losses in other provinces by gouging British Columbians

Damn! I read the lede and thought perhaps some sunlight might finally be shed on some of the antics of the New Era. Sigh! Just more Mikey...Wouldn't we so much like to see less of Mikey, Rich and the gang and more of the machinations that have so stunted the lives of so many in BC!

RG--

Was thinking about the current Wacky, not Bennett, MLA out that way.

Thanks NVG--
