as to your last question: because they can. They want to keep the Republican crazies from coming after them. they don't care who they sell their papers to, as long as they sell.
Found the site for the A.F.D. ( Alternative for Germany) and hey presto there is a “spenden” or donate link.
On the face of it, they are another political money making business that are cashing in on the right wing movements that exist in Germany by saying he stuff the suckers want to hear. No different than the states, if the population is big enough there are enough sheep that can be fleeced. As per Ron Desantis of Florida, folks are dying left and right but he is raking it in for his 2024 presidential run. Same playbook, different language.
Maybe it’s now time to let the medical system start to triage, or a nice way of saying let natural selection take place. The unvaccinated covid infected to be less of a priority, with the exception of those that can’t be vaccinated, and folks that are waiting for a hospital bed for put off needed surgeries and treatment go to the top of the list.

I realize you are likely speaking tongue-in-cheek re: the triaging but I really don't think we could do that, especially if the unvaccinated folks are sickest...The real issue here, in my opinion, is that we are not doing enough yet to make the advantages of vaccination, both on personal and community levels clear.

yea, it was tongue in cheek Ross, but man, it's getting old listening to the same old same old from these "Morans', how much more information can we have circulating to convince folks to get vaccinated,? whilst listening to money grubbers with a donate button telling them what they want to hear.
It's on the teevee every waking hour, every now and then we get a look at someone in hospital with covid, not vaccinated pleading not to end up like them, stats coming out ad. infinitum from every country with the same results of vaccination success, no mass die offs from the vaccines of Western countries, Russia or China.
I'm a 70 plus baby boomer, had every vaccine that was available and then some including 2 doses of Pfizer, still alive to tell the tale.
