The Ohio House passed a resolution (House Resolution 194) late Wednesday night that urges the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom to add Canada to a religious freedom watch list.
Republican Rep. Tim Ginter (R-Salem) backed the resolution for the way Canada handled lockdowns of churches and actions it took against religious leaders during the pandemic.
“This resolution is not the result of a singular incident or even a handful of incidents. It's a persistent pattern of religious rights violations that has driven us to this point,” Ginter said...

on one hand Ohio must have developed a very strange sense of humour. If this is serious, the U.S.A. is in deep shit. Perhaps they dont' know there are other countries with real problems, hey how about Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Afghanistan, etc, but of course they only impact women and minority ethic groups.
When the majority of citizens don't go out and vote you frequently wind up with "nut bars" being elected.
or perhaps the politicians in Ohio don't know of any other countries besides Canada. Some of the american politicians are some what limited in their knowledge of the world and other things.
Its funny though. don't these idiots have some thing better to do with their time, like deal with poverty, lack of child care, lack of medical access, high mortality rates for women giving birthm, the list goes on,
Perhaps they were just trying some of their "breathern" in their "fight" to spread the virus and have more people die.
