It's no longer the 'theory' that super-fine folks who look and think like the good Mr. Miller will be replaced by immigrants directly. Instead, the new 'theory' is that they will be replaced by people who look and think like their family members who are the actual immigrants.

yes there is. however people such as miller think its only meant for white people who are rich. Miller, Trump, etc. want to make america white again. They don't realize it never was. The Indigenous peoples were their first. I've always considered trump a racist. As society changed many grew afraid.
When Obama was elected many cried with happiness but there were others who thought that was not part of the natural order of things.
About a decade or so ago I read an article about how industrialists and others were "concerned" about the rise of Unions in the U.S.A. and thought that needed to stop before the "natural order of things" shifted. They commissioned a man whose name I forget, to write a paper on how to deal with it. He did and they have stayed with that game plan. the man later became a Supreme court Judge
This time, when a black man and his family moved into the White House, . My take on it is that was too much for Trump. Even after the actual murderer was caught and convicted Trump still carried on about how those 5 young men were responsible. I've seen and heard enough racist shit in my life to see what Trump really is and what it is all about. He knows how to play the crowd much as Hitler did. Now Trump is faced with a man of colour and a Muslim. Trump didn't understand he has over played his hand. The military in the streets, ICE raiding schools, etc. has had an impact on a lot of Americans. the decision to stop paying SNAP most likely was the end of the road for many. Not feeding children is just a step too far for most people. Not of course Trump, Miller, etc .
It was a wonderful night. Mamdani Is going to be sworn in as the Mayor of New York City and I hope its broadcast. Watching Mr. Mamdani give his speech last night was amazing.
We ought not to be too smug. When Moe Sihota was elected to the B.C. Legislature that was the first time a Sikh was elected to any Legislature in Canada.
President Kennedy was the first Catholic to be elected as President. Some have described it as a water shed moment in American politics. Mr. Mamdani's election is also a water shed moment in American history. For some of us the election of some are water shed moments. History has been made. Its not the end of racism but the biggest hurdle has been over come. For an old atheist yesterday was another great day.
You speak of the Powell Memo, that was written in 1971. It was the turning point for the oligarchs to repeal the reforms made by Roosevelt with his new deal. They say a Kondratiev wave lasts from forty to sixty years, so lets hope that we are at the cusp of a new economic era, for surely 47 is the end result of a cycle that started in the early seventies.

Miller is the real power behind the demented Trump. He is more than a fascist, he is a rabid NAZI and a real danger, just not for the USA but the world.
One can go on, but i would wager Miller's fingerprints are behind several "gun" instances in the past two years.
