...How Many Members Of That Club Are Now Running The Christy Clark Express?

_____

Updates at the bottom of the post...

A political eternity ago (ie. about six months or so) we kept track of all those fine folks that had been identified in the public prints as being members of a very elite group of potential Crown witnesses by then RailGate Special Prosecutor Mr. Bill Berardino.

Here is our final version of that list that that ceased being legally relevant* when Mess'rs Basi and Virk accepted the very generous plea bargain agreement engineered by both the Attorney General's office AND the Finance ministry of (still) Premier Gordon Campbell:

Campbell Administration Apparatchiks
Martyn Brown
Kenneth Dobell
Brenda Eaton
Yvette Wells
Chris Trumpy
David Morhart
Joy Illington

WestCoast FedLib Rainmakers
Mark Marissen
Bruce Clark

Former Campbell Government Ministers
Judith Reid
Gary Collins

Railway Magnates
ClaudeMongeau (CN's current Big Boss not named David)
Rob Ritchie (CP's Former Big Boss who cried wolf)
John Nash (CP Exec.)
Gary Rennick (OmniTrax' COO)
Dwight Johnson (OmniTrax' CEO)
John McLernon (BC Rail's former* Chairman and the former Chair of the 'Evaluation Committee' during the BC Rail Restructuring*)
Kevin Mahoney (BC Rail's former* CEO and a former 'Staff Advisor' during the BC Rail Restructuring*)
Brian Kenning (former* BC Rail Board Member)

Former Agents in the Employ of OmniTrax:
Brian Keiran
Eric Bornman(n)

Now.

How many of those names are now helping send The C.C. Express chugging on down the line?

We count at least three...

And then there is the man who is now purported to be one of the engineers on The Express who was also paid $6,000 per month for 49 straight months to provide BC Rail with strategic advice before, during, after the deal with CN Rail went down all squeaky and post-plea bargain clean.

______
Another member of the now legally irrelevant RailGate Top 40 who, as far as we know, is not currently riding the C.C. Express like his former compatriot in lobbying for a railway not named either BCR or CNR has a pretty big day back East today....We can only wonder if it is only his spidey sense that is tingling....
*Of course, whether or not the list is 'politically' irrelevant has yet to be determined.
Finally, we would be remiss if we did not mention that Ms. Clark herself was a potential member of the RailGate Top 40 way back when...We could not confirm membership with certainty at the time....However, this issue was raised by Public Eye's Rabble-Rousers on yesterday's Dec 12/2010 radio show....Two members of that panel even went so far as to indicate that Ms. Clark had retained government-compensated counsel in that regard at the 78 minute mark, here....
Meanwhile....Down at the courthouse.....
And, of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with nothing.....
