Wisconsin Recall: The Koch Brothers Win The Pennant!


And, as predicted, the real lede (ie. the money following) is already being buried.

By no less august a publication than the NYTimes.

Here is the base of their front page inverted pyramid:

WAUKESHA, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker, whose decision to cut collective bargaining rights for most public workers set off a firestorm in a state usually known for its political civility, held on to his job on Tuesday, becoming the first governor in the country to survive a recall election and dealing a painful blow to Democrats and labor unions....

I fear that, at least in the near and medium terms,  participatory democracy driven by an informed citizenry may be doomed.
