They came swooping down the hillside across the street from the lab...For some crazy reason it initially got me thinking of Uncle Neil's ten million dune buggies coming down the mountain line, if you get my apocalyptic drift...

Personally,I absolutely detest leaf blowers.Get a damn rake.
I can understand a leaf vacuum, but not a leaf blower
I also hate leaf blowers! Fucking things are so loud and pollute like hell!
DS - I actually really enjoy raking leaves - it puts you in a bit of a zen state..I get into the same kinda/sorta state loading micro-pipette tip racks!

Hmmmm....hadn't thought of that one...It sure would be fun to watch the gigantic leaf bag on their backs inflate until they started bouncing off each other like feather-light sumo wrestlers unless, of course, the leaves were wet.

Out here on Lotusland's pointiest grey point we are very proud that all of our blowers are electrified...So, less stinky but still ridiculously loud, which was the other thing that was apocalyptic about this gang as it came down the hill.

I hope they aren't lithium packs. I would hate to see any workers go up in flames!

Gosh - I hadn't thought of that. That is a little terrifying for those folks who are just doing their jobs.
Somewhat tangentially...Despite the fact that we bought a good one with my wife's e-bike, we're still very careful to only charge it out in the garage (we had a bit of back and forth about this stuff awhile back with my brother the fire personage).
