AccountabilityAren'tUs

On Public Eye Radio this morning, the rabble-rousing panel, when discussing Vancouver's Olympic Village Boondoggle and all the associated cost overruns, seemed to agree with each other when the subject of why politician's always seem to lie came up.
Which was either:
a) The poor, poor pitiful politicians just can't help themselves
b) Nobody would believe the poor, poor pitiful ones if they told the truth anyway.
Which is all kind of funny......ha, ha.
But how about the third possibility?
Which is:
c) The poor and the pitiful are so rarely held to real account.
For their lies I mean.
OK?
