LibCon Clowns To The Left Of Him...FedCon Jokers To The Right...

....Stuck In The Middle With George?

Here's Jeff Nagel's lede in the Cloverdale Reporter on the latest from the Joker Alliance:

Public safety minister Rich Coleman – for a time considered the best organized contender for the B.C. Liberal leadership – is now backing former health minister Kevin Falcon's bid.

"We need a leader that is going to be able to keep their eye on the ball fiscally, with regards to the budget of the government, but more importantly on the creation of jobs and making sure our tax system is competitive," Coleman told reporters in downtown Vancouver with Falcon Wednesday morning......

But can Mr. Abbott win?

And no, we are not talking about the Leadership race.

______
And does this, perhaps, explain why the 2nd Progressive Principal is riding Horse 1A?
Oh, and for the record, it is not the Beatles....In fact, the name of Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan's old band is way more context-appropriate than even something like the (not-so)FabFour (although, to be fair, Ms. Stillwell is no Yoko).

I thought Big Rich and PK were seen doing dinner a while back. Strategic advice would be the topic, I'm sure,so unless the whole thing is a sharade to make it appear to be a contest, it would seem that the feathered one is who we're going to see as the "strategic" candidate. Or......is there more to it??
It is hard for me to forget that they have all been along for the whole trainride to nowhere. I wonder why the sharp beaked candidate hasn't been asked about his views on and inquiry or has he?

First - I agree....they have all been along for the ride almost all of the time.

The beaked one, however, did kinda/sorta manage to hive himself off from the malignant mass by being the one who announced the killing of the tainted SpurLine thing...

Second...His beakness was kinda/sorta asked about the inquiry by KGretzinger sitting in for the Puffmaster yesterday (which, of course is why he was asked)....Beaky cut it off by going on the offensive and stating that the evidence was irrefutable that the BC Rail has been a bonanza for the Northern Economic Corridor (whatever the heckfire that means)....

I'll say one thing for Beaky....he reads the notes and he sticks to the script...In my opinion he's kinda like little Johnny Baird that way....Come to think of it, he's kinda like Johnny in a whole bunch of ways.

Coming back to big Rich.....

You got me there....I think it just be that, in the end, he had to go FedCon....And/or there was a heck of a bargain struck...
