Again.....

Casino-Industrial-Complexes comin' soon to your town too?

Stay-tuned....

And, meanwhile, whatever you do, do not buy into futures in the PayPhone business....

OK?

______
For those arriving from the Land of the Verses of the Twits....The real analysis/almost-live coverage is here...
And did anybody seriously think that Paddy the K, what with all his Trojan Horse 1A's etcetera, etcetera, would lose to.....Jordan Bateman et al?
And finally, while everybody is wondering where Ms. Clark will run...Me, I can't help but wonder, especially if there really are defections, if a spot will suddenly open up for, say.... this guy.
Update: Sunday afternoon, between the end of tap dance class and the start of C.'s Birthday/HathFrancoWay Party, I snuck down to Trout Lake, sans guitar, and took the Whack-A-Doodle for a bracing walk in the grey and the slush...Interestingly, the Murders of Crows were at least an order of magnitude larger, not to mention way, way more agitated and vocal with the 'Nevermores!' than usual....Hmmmmmmm....I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with this....Right?

I actually think that there is a whole lotta good news here....There is the splitting of the party....And...

This means that RailGate will NOT go quietly into the Goodship Watercarrier's foggy night...

Let's just hope the people of BC have enough brains this time to make sure that these lying thieves don't get elected.
Wouldn't it be a laugh if she didn't be elected in her own riding.
For now, send in the clowns.

Well Anon--

The choice, for those paying attention, is now crystal clear.....

In other words, if we lose this one, we fully deserve what we get...

(and why, exactly, was Gordon Campbell in Washington DC tonight?)

" (and why, exactly, was Gordon Campbell in Washington DC tonight?)" I wondered the same thing when I read that. Is he not just an MLA without a portfolio after stepping down as Premier. So why are we sending some guy who is on his way out, to Washington. Is he there to represent the people of BC, or just another free holiday paid for by you & I ?

Guy in Victoria

From Northern Insights blog...

"Nova Scotia-based Intelivote Systems Inc. let it be known that a number of control and audit checks available in their system were disabled at the choice of party officials. Further, confusion over thousands of voter PINs created a scramble to issue last minute voting IDs to who knows whom. Votes once recorded could not be examined."

Cute.

It's been reported that Premier Gordon Campbell will be stepping down in mid March.... therefore he's still an official of the BC Liberal Government.

How is it that the BC Liberal Party President knew where the Premier was and blabbed it on a National Broadcast to the whole world when the good citizens of the province of British Columbia don't, and were never told where he was and who was paying for his trip?..... How many staff did he take on the trip?

Kinsella's batting average is pretty good for a Canadian clean up man.

Beer-

And as for the good Mr Emerson?

Me, I figure he is at least a good 100 points below the infamous Mendoza Line....
