Ms. Clark and Mr. Campbell Are Forever Joined At The Hip...

....By The Knotty Gordian.

"He was sunk in despair. He was desperate... he called his equally depressed campaign manager and instructed him to.....accuse his high-riding opponent (the pig farmer) of having routine carnal knowledge of his barnyard sows, despite the pleas of his wife and children... His campaign manager was shocked. 'We can't say that, Lyndon,' he said. 'It's not true.' 'Of course it's not,' Johnson barked at him, 'but let's make the bastard deny it.'..."
Hunter Thompson, on Lyndon Johnson's 1948 Congressional Campaign.

" ...this is a tremendous wedge issue being handed to us on a silver platter! Please spread the word to your contacts."
Irene Barr, President, BC Liberal Women's Commission
In an E-Mail to supporters sent before publication of The Smear

"Late last night, British Columbians learned of a BC Teachers Federation secret plan to hold a strike vote days after the provincial election. It’s a duplicitous plan meant to engineer a school strike only weeks before provincial exams that would throw our school system into chaos. It’s obvious that both the NDP and the BCTF have been trying to hide their true intentions. They’ve run a campaign of deception, half truths and misinformation."
Gordon Campbell, On The Campaign Trail, May 12, 2005

"This is a totally manufactured issue."

Rod Mickleburgh, May 14, 2005 on CBC's 28 Days

With her poll ratings at new lows, Christy Clark, the B.C. Premier, opted to open the province’s spring legislative session not with a throne speech, but with a 90-minute appearance at a Vancouver radio station in which she took a shot at striking teachers’ unions.

“I am just not interested in raising taxes to pay for public sector wage increases,” she told Bill Good, the AM CKNW host, adding, “We are not able to give teachers the raise they want."...

...After “73 negotiating sessions with the teacher’s union … there’s been almost no movement,” Ms. Clark said.

She added she was “not terribly optimistic” a settlement would be reached, opening the possibility teachers would ultimately be legislated back to work...

Had she been honest, a bit much for her, I know, she would have said,

...After “73 negotiating sessions with the teacher’s union … there’s been almost no movement, by the BC Liberal Government."

What a timely post Ross K..

I know you rarely listen to Billy Good, who could blame you...

But my gawd...You should hear what that pathetic BC Liberal shill did today with his guest Mr. Plecas..

8:30 to 8:50 am)February 15)...

The vault will be up after 9:10 pm.

Shameless radio by Billy Good..

It was a ...[Give Christy Clark and the BC Liberals advice on how and what "Wedge issues" to create to keep the province safe from the socialists hoards segment]

Billy Good and cknw have gone deep into the sewer of slime, spin and confusion...

A must listen....Plecas...

"Legislate all municipalities freeze taxes for years...Legislate the teachers back to work today...Support Enbridge with stipulations that BC actually receive meaningful financial benefits and not just risk."...

A shameless segment Rodd K...

Billy and Bobby failed to mention...

Ya think if a party lies, cheats, bankrupts crown agencies, runs records deficits(plural) and cranks up the BC debt while crushing common folk with user fees and reduced services deserves time in the penalty box...

Bill Good and his station have now gone.."All in for BC Liberals"...

They made their choice today, the gig is up with Billy..

For shame

Thanks Ross. Are you heading for the Triple A S convention tomorrow?

"Despite 11 months of negotiations and nearly 80 bargaining sessions, there are few signs of progress. We have successfully negotiated agreements with all other major public sector unions." - Hon. George Abbott

"After “73 negotiating sessions with the teacher’s union … there’s been almost no movement,” Ms. Clark said.

Which one of these two Hon. politicians can't count, Christy or George?

Or, missed the memo on attendance records?

For over a decade. The Campbell/Clark BC Liberals have lied so much, Christy doesn't remember the first lie she told. Campbell and Hansen also used to contradict each other. There are lies, covering up for lies.

You would think, Christy would try and undo the damage Campbell did to BC. Christy chose to support, Campbell's corruption instead.

The media is a disgrace, to this province and the people. When the Campbell/Clark BC Liberals are gone...We will remember the media's treachery...As we remember Campbell's theft and sale of our BCR.

This government does not negotiate, it dictates. They will get their raise april 1 st but that doesn't follow the zero mandate as the managers also don't seem to be covered.

Thanks for listening so that neither WestEnd Bob nor I (or anyone else for that matter) has to!

GWest--

Ahhh...link is dead....Well, here's the link back to an impeccable source.....Ha!.

And ya, we're involved - better part is having some of them come to visit our place so we can talk real science.

______
NVG--

Nice catch.

If I were to hazard a guess it likely depends on which day one reads the talking points memo on the various 'focus-tested' issues they have been told to run with.

Anon-2-Above--

I just want the columnist/opinion makers to give us their honest opinions on stuff that matters (even if I don't agree with them). Post on that coming....

Anon-Above--

Good point.
