Can't quite understand all these kids who whip by me on their fixed-gear bikes with buds in ears.

I mean, how do they hear the SUV's coming?

Not to mention the hybrids - which are scary quiet even when your ears are wide open.

Anyway.....

There is one good thing about all this rain.

The ferns are truly loving it.
