This Day In Snookland: You Keep Using That Word...

...Independent.

I do not think it means what you think it means.

______
What's next....A Hat Man-led 'independent' inquiry into Translink's turnstiles?

Just prior to Jessica McDonald's departure from her financially rewarding appointed position.... taxpayers gave her a gift of fully paid training in a private management school (at a time when such funding was on hold to public servants ) to prep her for the private world. And surprisingly when she left.....she got a job with a Liberal friendly company.
And now she will once again be rewarded with taxpayer dollars. It appears our investment in training for Jessica has paid off enough that she can review the Provinces industrial training...

With these guys, once you are an "insider" you stay an insider unless you are caught with a dead girl or a live boy, and even then after a time out many are resurrected and brought back from their "time out."

Then there are the truly "untouchable" like "made man" Capo Campbell himself, who when punished and expelled is merely sent UP to a posher position!

Well, they screwed the system to hell 12 years ago, must be time to mess with it again. Maybe she's been studying Taylorism.

The ITA wouldn't need a review if the liberals hadn't marginalized trades training and apprenticeship in the first place. Stay tuned for less Corporate funding and more being paid to private training operations by individuals.
As short as we are of trades people, corporations still think it is up to taxpayers or individuals to pay. And those crazy apprentices might join trade unions which are kryptonite to the liberals. Not hard to see where this "review" will go. Especially with such a " qualified" reviewer.

Vaughn Palmer took note too.

Anon--

Ya.

Except...

I actually said what The Dean only pretended to say.

And I said it 12 hours sooner, BEFORE the press release/photo-op ballyhoo that even an outsider like me could see coming from 10 miles away.

Which means?

Well...you know.
