As per a recent post...
For now:
June 7 (Reuters) - CNN Chairman and Chief Executive Chris Licht has stepped down from the media company, effective immediately, parent company Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.O) said on Wednesday.
The company said that as it seeks Licht's replacement, it has put in place an interim leadership team including Amy Entelis, EVP of talent and content development; Virginia Moseley, EVP of editorial; and Eric Sherling, EVP of US programming, as well as David Leavy, chief operating officer, on the commercial side...
No word, yet, on whether or not cousin Greg survived.

Albeit Chris LIcht takes the plunge after the fallout of trump’s town hall disaster, the rot had set in a while back. To great fanfare CNN + subscription service was hyped for months, $300 million was dropped on it and it lasted a month.
Their primetime 9 p.m. eastern slot was doing just fine until in early December 2021 they gave the old heave ho to host Chris Cuomo for doing his governor brother a not well thought out favour. Until now that slot had been a series of different formats but mostly yak fests of verbal irrelevance by an in crowd that soon became tiresome for someone watching. Up against the MSNBC Rachel Maddow show and other primetime shows it was hopeless.
More to this obviously but the anchors look like fish out of water at times and must be wondering what comes next.?
Keith--
Excellent points.
And then there is the Amanpour factor...
