Does that mean that, when he wrote Neuromancer more than 40 years ago, William Gibson knew that...
Some of it was true?

From Pjotr Sauder of the Guardian:
It was the stuff of Bond villains. Two ageing autocrats, their younger ally in tow, ambled down a red-carpeted ramp before a military parade in Beijing when a hot mic picked up a question that seemed to be on their minds: how long could they keep going – and, between the lines, might science allow them to rule for ever?
With advances in technology, Russia’s Vladimir Putin assured Xi Jinping via his translator that “human organs can be constantly transplanted, to the extent that people can get younger, perhaps even immortal”.
The Chinese leader replied: “By the end of this century, people may live to 150 years old.”
Nearby, North Korea’s Kim Jong-un – three decades younger than the two 72-year-olds – appeared to take note with a smile....
Gosh.

No doubt Trump has his organ shopping list already prepared. With a special request to have the MC1R gene altered for predisposition to orange.

You may very well be right.
Except, if that were the case would not the good Mr. Trump would have to believe in woke sciency stuff like, oh, I dunno....chromosomes?
.
You know what they say, "the cemeteries are full of people who thought the world couldn’t get along without them." Whether they died at 33 or 150, they all got there eventually. It could even be while we were talking, I saw you nodding out.
I’m sure he’d be the first (and only) one to say he knows more about chromosomes than anybody. Excepting RFK Jr of course.
I'm pretty sure RFK is right up to date on the billions upon billions of nefarious microchips that have been implanted in the chromosomes of kids in airports by renegade mitochondria.
Or some such G5-assisted thing.

Do you live by river?

Body farms are already exist, just wait until Trump allows them to operate in the USA with condemned prisoners.
The rich and infamous are already experimenting with eternity!

so those boys want to live for ever. omg that is funny. there are transplants but at some point some one is going to get tired of them and they will meet their end on perhaps an O.R table, poison from a spousal unit, a rival for their positions. No one is immune to death and for those two it would be nice if trump exited stage right sooner than later. For those boys the end will be sooner than they believe. At this point in medical science there isn't a get out of death free card. They are a couple of narcissts who truly deserve each other. Their wives may also be happy to see them exit this earth. We could put trump;'s health care under the helpful cabinet minister. If Kennedy is so good for the nation then trump should be willing to entrust his health to him also.
I mis-read that as hot knife in Beijing, probably appropriate though!
Look, rubes, way over there, it's absolutely nothing important for us to think about; but, alas, that's the way the K likes his blog to read.
Meanwhile, the kommies are bankrupting the place:
"The total provincial debt for the year is expected to top out at $155 billion, up from $89 billion in John Horgan’s last year in office. In just three years, Premier David Eby will have increased the debt by $66 billion.
About half the increase — $32 billion — was borrowed to cover spending on the operating side — staffing, overhead, groceries and the like — not the capital spending on schools and hospitals that the New Democrats usually cite to justify their debt loading.
Bailey struggled Monday to rationalize the surge in debt and deficits since Horgan left office. She mentioned the COVID-19 pandemic and inflation and the usual suspects in the global economy."
What would you do with a trillion dollars? :/
Yer barking up the wrong tree.
