The Base? Isn't that "Al Qaeda" in arabic? Osama bin Laden so named his terrorists organization because it was supposedly broad at the bottom and solid. Except for the bib coveralls and pitchforks, the Conservative Base has some remarkable congruency: it is also made up by "People of the Book" whose claim to breadth and solidity is similarly overstated.
