At The End Of The Day...

...Why Are The Teachers Called 'Militant'?

And, on the flipside, why isn't the BC Liberal Government called 'extremist'?

After all, it isn't teachers who have worked so hard to provoke strikes.

And it sure as heck isn't teachers who have torn up contracts.

And no judge has ever called the actions of the teachers unconstitutional.

OK?

The use of the word militant is totally absurd. I guess it is supposed to invoke a 'shock and awe'element to it all.Of course this is not Iraq in 2002 we should all be appalled that the province would like to make us believe there is a similarity.
These are just folks, very important folks, who happen to find themselves up against the slimiest people willing to use George Bush type tactics against them.We should all be appalled!

Don--

It seems to be a media meme that the herd just cannot shake.

And, in my opinion one of chief drivers of said herd on this one is that TeeVee fella on the Twittmachine.

Speaking of which....

Of course the BC liaRs have no interest in supporting education. After all, they would have to get REAL jobs if they had to face an educated electorate! The dumber the voters the easier it is for them to carry on their corrupt exploitation of the province and its people.

it was called the Gobels method of propaganda and politicians still use it. Tell a big enough lie, often enough, people will believe it.

Teachers aren't militants but you have idiots who work for corporations who do as the politicians tell them to. easy.
