Hey!

Look which former 'public office holder' just registered as a lobbyist in British Columbia:

Now, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't Ms. Haakstad's boss in three of those 'public office' positions our fine Premier?

So....

Who, precisely, has the good Ms. Haakstad registered to lobby?

Bingo!

What's it really all about Alfie (the quick winning part, I mean)?....Well....You know.

Ms.Haakstad had did a short stint at Spectra Energy just prior to heading up the Wazuku. A fairly high level position dealing with suppliers and vendors. Must have seen the end coming with the recent purchase of Spectra by Enbridge. Shouldn't be too tough for her to find work with the Premier on speed dial and most likely always taking the call. Likely worth a premium in the backchannel$ of lobbydom.
Did anyone think for a minute that the circle was broken? Has anyone ever been refused the opportunity to lobby, or is obvious conflict not considered a concern?
