This idjit hasn't got an original thought in his whole "trumped" up body! Pretty desperate to hang onto that lucrative public teat, I'd say.
Yes because we know how popular "Trump" style politics is in Canada. I mean , yes Trudeau is in the pocket of big oil and SNC Lavalin and he would sell out our laws and systems of checks and balances for his buddies to skate but people would still choose that over Trump or anyone like him.
Not surprised at all, Perhaps he got the idea from Warren Kinsella.
Kinsella's dislike for Trudeau was coming cross loud and clear on his blog, when I stopped reading it. Kinsella's support, or my take on "his support", for Christy Clark and her various B.C. Lieberal types was just a tad too much.
When Harper was elected the first thing he did was defund women's groups. I'm sure the first thing Scheer would do if elected is "investigate' the federal Liberals. the conservative party of Canada has an agenda, which in my opinion, has very little to do with providing Canada with good government, ensuring all Canadians have a decent life. Its an agenda which is not dissimilar to Trump's and the religious rable he rolls with.
None of what Scheer and his cons have done surprises me and I expect if he is elected with a majority, I'll be back fighting for the right to choose and for women to have control over their own bodies. OMG, I can't even fathom it at some levels. The clock may be turned back all in one short life time.
oh, well people get the government they deserve/vote for.
A big danger here is that, if Mr. Scheer does win, even a minority, the fine folks who are paid to shovel this kind of codswallop into the 'strong' and 'rebel'lious discourse destroying prop-flinging catapaults will be even more emboldened next time round.
