....With A Cancelled Helijet Reservation?
All of which begs the question....
Why not just take the ferry in the first place instead of staying overnight in Lotusland Central while waiting for the HJet?
________
Interestingly, the wee bit of wurlitzering around this, and Mr. Bernier's origin story tweet, is self-congratulatory....Sheesh.
Need to scratch that header-induced earworm?....This.

yeah but .... Mike Bernier's riding is Peace River South
What's he doing in Wilkinson's riding of Vancouver-Quilchena?
No direct flight to Victoria?
??????Brainwashing Nah! Gotta have brains for that to have that to happen, This group of self-entitled led by Wee, Wee,Wackyison they just don't get it and never will, their dialogue and behavior, in general, is going to land them in deepest outhouse right next to the pigsty. The only place fitting as I see it. Paul Mc Cartney, Mick Jagger, Great Stuff! Great Music!
ah the every wonderful Mick Jagger. a few more lines, but essentially still the same.
That maybe said for some of our politiicans', still the same, after all these years and they aren't getting better, just older.
The heli jet, sets them apart from the common rabble. To think at one time all of the politicians used the B.C. Ferries to get back and forth. Bet most wouldn't want to risk that these days, hence the heli jet. Can you image, 2 hours on a B.C. Ferry, with the voters who might not be amused with them. Might have changed the course of politics in the province. Just the thought of having to have contact with the public might have caused the odd one to change their minds on a few things.
In the news today:
"VICTORIA — B.C. Hydro is losing billions of dollars because it was forced by the (former) provincial government to sign contracts with private power producers for the wrong type of power at exorbitant rates, according to a new report."
Well, duh. We've known this since 2007 when John Calvert's book came out, "Liquid Gold".

@ e.a.f. and @ Hugh Heli-jets and IPP, there is a connection.
A year and a half ago I did a post on 'Air Christy' spending spree based on a report I found in the BC Leg Library written in 1994 by Kenneth Davidson for the NDP, which Vaughn Palmer used in a column.
http://blogborgcollective.blogspot.com/2017/06/what-would-ken-davidson-say-about-air.html
Vaughn Palmer:
"Within a 200 page report prepared by Ken Davidson, director of program evaluation in the finance ministry, his team of analysts spent the better part of a year reviewing the government air operation and the services it provides, mainly air ambulance and a shuttle for cabinet ministers and bureaucrats. He concluded that private companies could deliver the service more cheaply, while the government could reap additional benefits by selling the assets.
The Davidson report led directly to the decision to get rid of the air service, but unfortunately for the NDP. Premier Mike Harcourt and Finance Minister Elizabeth Cull made the call without consulting other members of cabinet, which has some ministers picking holes in a report that they weren't permitted to examine beforehand."
March 15, 1994 Government Air Services Reveiw Report

And now it turns out that its this same Kenneth Davidson writing a report on BC Hydro for the NDP Government.
On the IPP thing...
Why doesn't every proMedia outlet under the Lotuslandian sun talk to a real expert for in-depth knowledge and context?
As in...
Norm!
.
Clear evidence that taking the ferry is the absolute last resort. Entitlement defined.
That photo and caption offered as if the poor huddled masses were survivors seeking respite in a cave somewhere. Brave and dedicated souls they are.
Lew--
Brave and dedicated, indeed...
However, when they cavort with the norms and rubes who knows when any one of them just might face their own #IAmLinda moment.
