Is The Straw That Stirs The Dean's Drink Now...

...The good Mr. Meggs?

______
Of course, where Mr. Palmer dares to tread all other Club members will soon follow...Which is the point, I guess...At least for the moment.
Meanwhile, Mr. Weaver shows the rest of #bcpoli how to use the Twittmachine, for realz (also at least 'for the moment')  in ways that the Club cannot ignore.
Hey!....Karen of the North is back at the blog bench, hammer and saw in hand....A great place to start is her post on what she did on Christmas vacation (it was not leisurely but it sounds like it was a whole heckuva lot of fun).

When Weaver says he will bring down the government with this three MLA what would happen if the other two (majority) Greens said NO? No Free Vote with the Greens?

Continued growth - the GDP must grow every year, forever.

Or else. The bond rating might go down, or something.

Meanwhile Bruce Ralston is tweeting out photos of himself in China with a caption about how BC’s trade offices in China did a great job facilitating over $1 Billion in investment and trade last year for people in BC. Should make a fantastic ad for Ben Stewart’s re-election bid in Kelowna West.

Shelley Cook will be very impressed with the help.

and Weaver thinks he can get a better deal from the B.C. Lieberals? Ya, right. Does he want to return the province to the B.C. Lieberals? that would can his party for years to come. If Weaver is so delusional that he thinks he can make it as leader of the opposition or Premier, he needs to stop smoking B.C.'s best crop. There is also the no small issue of his two colleges,. who may not be so willing to roll the dice.

Weaver can threaten all he wants and he can listen to those who listen at the dean's desks, but really, get a grip. there are a lot of disabled who got a raise with the NDP coming in to office and the investigation into the money laundering, isn't going to make things easy for the B.C. Lieberals to resume power.

if dream weaver pulls the plug, he needs to understand he and his 2 collegues may have been a very short one term wonder.

"So far, so good."

Really? Let's see:

BC's net debt is growing by "only" $7.3 billion.

BC Hydro is the "giant problem child of provincial finances". Its debt is growing rapidly, especially with Site C. This will hurt BC's credit rating.

But it's all ok because hydro rates can go up. Doh!
