Last night we talked a bit about raconteur Todd Snider's amazing story that involved one of his musical heroes, Jerry Jeff Walker.
Which induced a certain reader, a fellow whom most of you know in one incarnation or another, to leave the following comment:
One of the very best concerts I have ever been to was at the Commodore in the late 1970's. Jerry Jeff was pretty hammered (as was the whole crowd come to think of it). The atmosphere was terrific!
I have been a bit disappointed in Jerry Jeff as he worked the corporate circuit for a decade or so. Seemed so far removed from attitude of his earlier self (course some might say that about me! :)....

Regarding the sub-header....I know all kinds of personages and/or media organ grinder monkeys have turned off their comments for all kinds of good reasons...However, I still find, especially if you pay attention and actually join in, that they are one of the great bonuses of this dying breed/single shingle blogging thing.
