*That 'now' is actually about a year ago...One can only wonder how much higher the good Mr. Bush's moranic favo(u)rables have risen since then.
And, just to be clear...I, for one, do not believe that this collective upside-downery stops at the southern edge of the 49th parallel.

Bush did a lot of dumb things and some down right stupid things, but when compared to Trump, I'm sure he looks better to Americans than Trump. His invasion of Iraq ranks right up there with stupid and evil. However, he didn't separate children from their parents at the border, didn't act like Kim 3, Putin, and Xi were his best buddies, you know the usual.
Anyhow I liked Barbara Bush, his mother. She announced she was pro choice while her husband was on the compulsory pregnancy band wagon.
