Sometimes A Spreadsheet...

....Is Worth A Thousand (Billion, Trillion) Words.

And what does Oxfam want?

Well...

...Oxfam recommends that nations tax wealth at fairer levels, raise rates on personal income and corporate taxes and eliminate tax avoidance by companies and the super-rich...

Socialism?

Or.

A return to Eisenhower era tax rates for everyone?

Given Eisenhower was a good Republican, lets just sell this as "returning to plain old fashioned Republican tax solutions". It will help eliminate the national debt and build the American military and the national infrastructure.

If I'm not mistaken during the Eisenhower years the American corporate tax rate was somewhere around 80%.

In the case Of bezo and amazon, they tried to buy the civic election in Seattle. Didn't get far, but these corporations are perhaps scarier than some of the American "enemies". they control a lot of politicians.

Now of course this can't be "sold" to the American public as something Oxfam wants, but as a return to "true" Republican values.
