Election A-Go-Go...Looks Like They Didn't Take That Drive Through The Woods After All.

OhMeOhMy
OhVille

From the new leader of the BC Green Party:

Obviously, a 'meeting' with Mr. Horgan was not enough.

Instead, she and he could have taken a leisurely Friday afternoon drive through the woods, with the top down, taking the back road between ridings while they ironed things out using proverbial hammers and tongs...

****

On the plus side, at least now we will no longer be inundated with the neverending 'Will-he-or-won't he?' specu-talk in every corpMedia organ grinder monkey outlet in the province.

Then again, it will likely only switch to endless bleatings of 'Will the strate(r)gy backfire on the Dippers?'

I guess we're going to find out.

And soon.

On the matter of Site C ....... BC Liberals Christy Clark, on behalf of the Bennett clan, started it rolling; BC NDP couldn't stop it, too late, too many penalties. Maybe Premier Horgan will be asking voters to decide on the financial risks with a simple Yes or No majority.

Better yet, a comment from BC Liberals current Leader on Site C, would suffice.

NVG--

I would imagine that the fact that it is likely still too soon for the BCL braintrust to say anything about Site C is part of Dipper calculus to go now rather than wait for later.

Because....

By next fall, when it is even more clear to the public that the cost overruns are massive and have ballooned with the NDP in power, well, by then things might have changed with respect to what Mr. Wilkinson (if he is still around) might be willing to say/rail against.
