Christy's New Snake-Eyes....Double 14's!

There'sNoSum
LikeZeroSumVille

Barbara Justason and friends have a new provincial voter pref poll out.

The sample size is kinda small, it was done by phone/online hybrid, and the data were gathered before the Bloy and BC Placename blow-ups, etc.

But.

Who cares...Let's just have a look at the raw numbers, shall we?

Here they are, taken directly from the Justason Market Intelligence website/press release thingy:

So.

Can you see them?

The snake-eyes staring back at the (not)Premier's braintrust?

Because, sure, being down 14 points to the Dippers is scary enough on its own.

But have a look at that BC Conservative party number.

If it really has slid on down to 14, that means Ms. Clark may really and truly be doomed.

Because if it is really as low as 14, nothing the Glimmer Twins from Harperland can do will save her because there just may no longer be enough there there to get her back over the hump.

Hmmmm....

Wonder how long we will start to hear sighs and whispers about how fixed election dates are so yesterday's news?

_____
Turns out that Ms. Justason was once a national board member of the 'MRIA'....Hmmmm....Where have we heard about the work of those fine folks before....Oh, yeah....Here it is...
Of course, what this really likely means is that that the glimmering Twins will flash their barracuda smiles (borrowed from good ol' Martha Raye, perhaps?) in strategy sessions and make an even bigger pitch for going all negative, all the time using the argument that the politics of destruction may be all they have left.

Just as the BC law prohibiting deficits was set aside when no longer convenient, the fixed election date may well be set aside and the Libs will aim to stay until 2014.

One more year equals bigger pensions and maybe they can slip in larger severance payments too.
