Please note: This post has been updated, at the bottom, to demonstrate that I am not making stuff up...Ha!

Rob Shaw, who now works for Mr. Radler's ever growing stable of newspapers, had the story on the Twittmachine a little earlier:
Lib MLA Harry Bloy thanks his former comm director Brian Bonney in #bcleg speech -- Bonney is key player in ethnic outreach scandal #bcpoli
— Rob Shaw (@tc_shaw) March 5, 2013
Interestingly enough, the good Mr. Bonney has worked in both Ms. Clark's and Mr. Campbell's regimes. He is currently out of reach of Mr. Dyble's investigation however, as he has now returned to the highly privatized private life of the extremely vital and extremely productive land of corporate association hoods. Perhaps, however, Mr. Bonney will soon pop up on a talk show near you to present his views on all matters of vital importance?

Update...For the reader that was concerned (about me making stuff up?)...Here's the passage from Hansard, kindly located for us by Mr. Shaw of the VSun.
H. Bloy: It's a pleasure to stand today....
{snippety doo-dah}
...We have friends and we have names that I could go on calling out all day. We have political friends, people that have helped on every election. I want to thank some people that have truly helped me and that I've known in the community of Burnaby and worked with for many years: Brian Bonney...
Interestingly, Mr. Bloy also took time to specifically recognize Mr. Phil Hochstein as well....And while I'm not going to pull that quote it's there...Promise.

Don't leave out that other connection between Bonney and Bloy....written by Sean Holman "The secret lives of scoutmasters - Public Eye Online".
And that Mr. Bloy's campaign manager was Mr. Bonney
And Mr. Bloy handed Mr. Bonney his Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, with an honour guard of one RCMP Officer in full Uniform.... Such is the life for .. Insiders
Can we have that Medal Back? Would Queen Elizabeth say "WE ARE NOT PLEASED" Mr. Bonney for using the Ethnic communities of our shared Commonwealth as a means of winning an election in British Columbia!

Oh Bloy--
Better send Mr. Shaw a Twittmachine message.

Mr. Shaw was good enough to respond with a pointer....Post has been updated with pertinent passage from Hansard.

Phil Hochstein has become a very good friend, who some members on the opposition may not agree with. Even some members on this side think that Phil has a different opinion than other members within the industry, but that's what makes this world go. You've got Jim Allard and Colleen Talbot. You've got John Park, a Korean lawyer who I travelled with to Korea many times. We've become friends over the years, but just an amazing individual that many of you'd never hear of that contributes so much to the society of British Columbia. You know, Charles Kim, Chiharu Sato, Angela Mackenzie.

I want to thank some people that have truly helped me and that I've known in the community of Burnaby and worked with for many years: Brian Bonney, Mark Robertson, Bob Davies, A. Nick Kovenich, Robin Ross, Jan Carole, Mark Hilford — individuals that have truly helped me in my passion to run for politics to represent the people.
