My Morning Ride...Blossom Blizzard!

Have fun seeing your neighbours while voting everyone.

And be nice to your poll worker.

The nice young woman at poll #66 in Vancouver Kingsway was fantastically efficient.

And I really dig the fact that the little piece of folded paper with the pencil 'X' goes into a cardboard box to be counted!

Did the advance poll last weekend at the Croatian Cultural Centre.

EE--
You and the rest of early birds!

No line-up at 7:30 am though.

GF--
That's where the two E's and C went last weekend also. I actually like going to the tiny gymnasium at the primary school in our neighbourhood.

Mine's Norquay school, just the smell can give you a rush of nostril nostalgia.

The local school I voted in, I attended in 1963, when I was in grade 3! It was just four rooms back in the day and several girls rode their horses to school!

And this was just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver!

EE--

I remember seeing that kind of crazy behaviour in late sixties Cloverdale when we visited there in the late '60's for some kind of family thing.

seeing the trees all in pink is lovely but there is something decadent about having all the blossoms on the sidewalks and grass that is just wonderful. Just add chocolate and B & B and life is fine regardless of who is government.
