So, Do They Wish They Still Had Rafe Mair Now?

The (no longer) Giant '98 is doomed.

Crawford Killian, in the Tyee, has the story:

CBC Radio One in Vancouver has has beaten CKNW to the top of the ratings, according to the latest BBM Canada report.

In the first quarter of 2009, CBU on Radio One got 11 percent of the AM audience. (Scroll down to the Top-Line Radio Statistics - Vancouver page for the details.)

CKNW, long the top AM station, came in at 10.1 percent. No other station gained a double-digit rating.

The numbers also showed a dramatic change from the last quarter of 2008, when CKNW was the top station with 12.4 percent, and CBU was at just 9.9 percent.

Gosh.

Does this mean that there's no point live blogging the Ledgie Boys anymore because nobody, except perhaps me, West End Bob, and a passel of Media Monitoring Milo Minderbinders, is actually listening?

Of course, the bad news is that this means that the CluffMaster Flash-assisted pablumization of Radio One is now sure to continue unabated.....
