From the BC Supreme Court ruling that overturned the egregious Campbell/Oppal 'Gag' Law that was hanging over the head of elections in British Columbia:
"To curtail the ability of third parties to engage in political speech at that crucial time in the absence of an evidentiary or logical basis as to why it is necessary to do so is not a minimal impairment of freedom of expression," the judge wrote. "The right to speak out against (or for) the government is vital for the health of any democracy."
I have absolutely nothing else to add.
That is all.
