Meanwhile In Alberta....Apparently There Are No Private Pay-For-Play FluShot Clinics

And people, (or at least the Media Organs) are starting to get pissed.

Case in point the following is foment-inducing lede from Calgary's 660 News:

If you've waited in line to get the H1N1 flu shot and been turned away, this will really get under your skin.

Private clinics in two provinces have the vaccine and are only doing it out to people on their membership lists.

"Medcan" in Toronto and "Copeman Healthcare" in Vancouver have thousands of the shots.

Both were among a group of companies that applied to their respective provincial governments to get the shot......

But here's the thing....

Will the pissed-offedness of the citizenry be directed at the fine folks making off like bandits by offering exclusivity and a lack of line-ups to the pampered few through the use of publically-funded vaccine that is supposed to be for everyone?

Or.....

Will the citizenry get whipped into a frenzy when they come to the realization that that this most excellent example of Universality-busting didn't happen in Alberta first?

Just askin'......

(especially given that there is, indeed, a Copeman clinic in Calgary)
