...(In Ideological Lust With) An Atheist?
And, lest you think I am being a little over the top here, to the best of my knowledge (or even the fever-blistered brain of one Mr. William O'Reilly), Mr. Obama never, ever, forced his staffers to read the collected works of, say, Saul Alinsky.
On the other hand, I guess I could have written a header asking Mr. Ryan if he has ever 'palled around' with famous denouncers of organized religion.
Or some such thing.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."*
*Well, on second thought . . . .
Can the right wing get any crazier? Possibly. With the addition of Ryan to the ticket, I guess there isn't a bottom on the right side of the equation politically.
Bob--
And then there is the third thought...

Ron--
Thing is, this is all part of the strategy. The crazier the fringe gets, especially when it is successfully portrayed as 'serious' in the media (see Mr. Ryan's budget plan) the more the center shifts to the right.
Which, of course, is why the pushback from the Repub Braintrust was so swift and merciless when the 'legitimate' congresscritter Mr. Akin went too far and started babbling real crazy that could not be portrayed as serious by the likes of those whose job it is to do just that (eg. the two Davids - Brooks and Frum).
