This practise needs to be illegal.

Mr. Good and friends pretend it does not even happen.
The real issue is that these 'surveys' where people self-select have to be exposed as biased.
(and any 'news' outlet that pretends that such surveys do not contain such bias should be ridiculed mercilessly for doing so)
