What Do The Wall Street Protestors Really Want?

AllTheExplanationsThatFit

Personally, regardless the various points of view, I think it comes down to two words.

Which are....

Fair.

And...

And, as Simon and Cathie point out, it is getting harder and harder not to think that all the fairness has gone out of the thing when you see stuff like...

OK?

Yes, I think you've nailed it. But the conservatives think its a zero-sum game -- if the middle class is treated fairly, then they think the rich will lose. Stupid.

Cathie--

Ya.

I'm pretty sure the massive co-optation mission is coming...But I wonder....Given how this appears to have gained its initial momentum without the hands of the usual suspects pulling all the strings could it, perhaps, lead to something real this time?

(or am I just being hopelessly naive?)

Beats me, but I hope Occupy Vancouver is ready for the full participation of Mr. Beer N. Hockey on the 15th. My suggestion- bring your hockey stick.

Thanks Alison--

It's interesting.

I'm actually starting to think the diffuse nature of the groups/folks involved is actually helping with the momentum building because it is more difficult for the MelangeMedia to label and then dismiss (discredit?) it. As a result, it has not yet passed into the newscycle trash bin.

Mr. Beer--

Fair enough.

But...

No Teddy Greening goin' down.

OK?

My thought exactly Ross. No more commenting to other people's blogs from my phone without my glasses on!

I'll be there on the 15th, and I'm bringing the Grim Reaper with me.
