It's The End Of The (Climate Change) World As We Know It...

From Adam Gabbatt in the Guardian:

Fox News Media, the company that owns the reactionary, climate crisis-skeptical Fox News, is launching a weather channel this year – a development that has climate crisis experts worried.

Fox Weather, a 24-hour channel devoted to all things meteorological, promises “cutting-edge display technology”, according to a press release, with “forecasting experts surrounding every major weather event”...

Gosh.

How long before the breathless reports about how Pacific Northwest heat domes are actually the result of differential convection currents generated by old growth forest islands in the pristine clear-cut stream?

Or some such thing.

Trump’s cutting edge display technology was only a Sharpie, and he altered the path of a hurricane.

With the technology available to Fox, their wizards will take the MAGAs via a virtual tornado to live perpetually in Munchkinland. Where the climate is very stable.

Lew--

Very stable tornados are just we most definitely do not need.

Not surprising FOX news is starting a weather channel. There are those who aren't keen on the truth being told regarding our weather/climate change. Love your line about what could be their take on the climate "Pacific Northwest....' sure made me laugh because I can believe they would do reporting in that manner. Ought to be a winner for the maga crowd.

We'll see. They may try to play the Weather straight up, at least at first. But like their sports channel stuff, especially on the radio, it is likely that the ideology just may start to seep in regardless.
