Ya, And She Once Saw Maggie Thatcher From Her Dorm Room...In Scotland.

ST. JOHN'S, N.L (Canadian Press). — British Columbia Premier Christy Clark is dismissing the chances of the Parti Quebecois reigniting separatist fervour in the province.

Clark says the PQ has failed in its attempts to break up Canada in the past and she doesn't think it will have any more success in the future.

She says that's because Quebecers are no different from British Columbians as they are forward looking global citizens who are interested in creating wealth and being a part of the world.

Clark says Quebec is also a different place than it was 20 or 30 years ago...

{snippety doodle-dandy}

...Clark says she thinks issues of governance and the Constitution are less important to Canadians, who are interested in how the country participates globally.

And yes, the viewing of the Iron Lady by the alleged Iron Snowbird while an academic tourist was, allegedly, a real thing.

Christy figures we’re interested in “being a part of the world”.

Yessirree. No otherworldly types hereabouts.

Except for a few sparkle pony ranchers.

O Jeez! Last time Christy ruminated on the national stage, she embarrassed all BC with her inane ideas on Senate reform, exposing, with her inimitable, unwarranted pride, that she knows squat about how government works.

She might not be aware, but there are plenty of street-level prancers in places like Soho and LA that would betray her self-ascribed uniqueness. The smiles come from entertainment, Christy, not respect or approval.

Newfoundland will now tell BC jokes.

Yep, and I see she's still blathering mindlessly on about "world class spill response" without ever even being able to explain what she thinks that might be. It's just a little phrase she tries to spout when she wants to impress???
