The traditional, linearly typed ode to my Dad (and my Mom too) is....Here.
****
This Sunday's Set includes versions of:
Townes Van Zandt's most famous tune...Here's hoping our very own old Lefty's Dad jokes and political pragmatism don't ultimately force him to move to a proverbial Cleveland...And I mean that in the best possible way.
A cover of the red headed stranger's most famous cover...
Jason Isbell's 'White Man's World'...Along with a spoken word mea culpa from a much younger me for not doing the right thing at the time...
______
And, ya...These are the past week's Evening Audio tunes stitched together with some babbling in between...When I asked littler e. why there isn't a 'Kid's Day' this morning she said matter of factly that it was because 'Every day is kid's day.'...Imagine that.

thank you for your comments regarding your teen years. It is time we all do the right thing.
enjoyed the music. didn't know Willie Nelson had children. the kid has a great voice.
e.a.f.--
It was crazy how callow and unaware we were of what was really going on - which is why getting the real story in history books and school curricula is so important. None of that 1970's ignorance excuses the racism, however.
As for Willie's son Lukas...He and his bandmates from 'The Promise of The Real' have even have been backing Uncle Neil of late....
.
well if Uncle Neil ever comes back to town, we'll have to check them out. Have the two shots now, have mask, can travel
Apparently, according to him, the ol' bastard is back in the studio/barn, so...
