Cassiopeia (Reina Del Cid Cover)

50Mission
StarsVille

Cassiopeia is a star constellation high in the northern sky that is named after the vainglorious mother of Andromeda in Greek mythology.

It is also a stranded space traveller's lament that has been conjured and sung by my favourite internet DIY musicians, Reina Del Cid.

Here, thanks to reader Ken's request, is my version...

______
Image at the top of the post is by nightscape photographer Amirreza Kamkar...It's taken in Northern Iran with the Caspian sea just over the horizon...Cassiopeia is in the upper right part of the sky.

Hey Ross,

Oh man Ross you nailed it! Well done.

I figured it would suit your style and it sure does.

Thanks for taking the time to indulge my request.

Thanks K & K--

No indulging involved whatsoever - it was fun.

Did have to move it down to the people's key of 'C', however...Couldn't hit the highs in their 'F'.

Amirreza Kamkar's Cassiopeia image reminds me of a photo that my daughter and her husband took on a four wheel trip to Usal Campground's Shady Dell & Hotel Gulch @ 39°49'55.2"N 123°51'01.0"W

They have a 'James Baroud Rooftops Tent' and the image captured with the stars as a backdrop left me wondering, for nine months, if that was the 'moment' that 'it' happened. P.S. the two lights on the horizon: fishing fleet

Wow!

That is some image NVG.

I've never been to that particular campground, but we know the stretch of US Highway 1 from Leggett to the coast well.

In fact, one time, we got stuck for a time due to a fallen tree across the road not far, I think, from the Usal Creek Rd turn-off.
