Backdoor Man

Remember that part in the Rob Reiner classic 'Stand By Me' where the two kids, Teddy and Vern, are arguing about who is mightier, Mighty Mouse or Super Man?

Well, if memory serves, Teddy, played by Corey Feldman, finally kinda/sorta wins out by informing Vern that Mighty Mouse can't beat Superman because he's just a cartoon character.

Now, while Conrad Black was once the self-promoted SuperMan of Neandercons, his status in the cartoon world of caricature is fast becoming iconic.

All of which is neither here nor there because Conrad the Marauder is no longer Mighty in any way, shape or form.

Witness his newfound predilection for playing the part of the backdoor man.

"Conrad Black has been ordered by an Ontario court to return 12 boxes of unidentified materials after he was captured on security cameras removing cartons through the back door of Hollinger Inc.'s Toronto head office late Friday afternoon......"

Go check out the pictures. They're worth more than an entire crate of Amielian Jewelry filled to bursting. Especially the one where Mr. Black's loyal servant and limo driver John Hillier can be seen gazing up at the security camera while his boss fuddle duddles looking for the 'right' boxes.

____
Update, Midnight EDT (stuck in apparently teacherless Ottawa.... has the BCTF exported it's duplicitous plan to the East?): CBC Radio is reporting that Mr. Black has agreed to return the boxes (but will they be full or empty?).
