Scott Brown of Postmedia brings you the wise-acred words of one Mr. Steve Darling, straight-up, steno-style:
"...We knew from the very beginning that we were going into a very tough market but as I said right from the beginning, I felt very connected to that market because I’ve worked there for so long in Burnaby-Lougheed..."
Gosh.
A 'market'...
That's a really neat-o way to think of your constituents and all that Steve-O.
Sheesh.

Everyone can be bought and sold in that world. So much for public service! In another quote he described it as a job to feed his family. Man, things are upside down!
This little piggy went to market,
This little piggy stayed home,
This little piggy had roast beef
This little piggy had none,
And this little piggy cried wee wee wee all the way home.
Mr. Darling hit all the toes but one.
" It was a difficult decision because there were parts of the Green platform that I thought were interesting as well and there were parts of the NDP program I thought were interesting"
'ello 'ello, A new "Flip' Gordon Wilson in the wings, or maybe he could take over Jas Johal's old job in the interim until the right offer comes along.
Let the market decide
The butt kisser will be selling real estate in a few days
Should P Kinsella take over for CC.?
Sorry Steve, You picked the wrong horse!
Well, old Steve could hardly put 4 words together without stumbling when in front of the camera, so I doubt he would have been one of their marvelous speakers in the Leg! Course, they did have foghorn Kevin from Kamloops if I recall.
Have to agree with Lenin'Ghost that selling real estate is probably his next best option. So interesting that he should refer to voters in a political election as the "market". Kind of says a whole lot about all those Lieberal trainers that tried to edjumacate their chosen candidates, doncha think?
Lulumay, Lenins Ghost,
Not sure about real estate, Dancing with the stars.?
Or, how's about...
"Keeping Up With The Clarkdashians"?

Is that the sound of one invisible hand slapping upside the head?

Liberal ‘Gerrymandering’ Handed Them Election Win: Analyst
BC Liberals told electoral boundary commission to protect sparsely populated ridings in party strongholds.
- by Andrew MacLeod, The Tyee
MacLeod makes a good case. This also explains why the Greens didn't run anyone in Peace River North, Peace River South, Skeena and Stikine.
