I can't wait until the Corp. Media -- Post Media "news" papers fold. I quit reading those bastards 25 years ago and I am much better informed because of that.

Rod is sorta stating the obvious. Having lived through two periods of NDP rule I've seen how the press turns on a dime and goes into full attack mode as soon as the dippers start to govern. The new government should have plans to deal with that.

What Rod Mickleburgh stated is well underway already. That will have some obvious and undesirable consequences for the mass media which needs to remember that over Premier Clark's regime, tens of millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted on partisan advertising which the mass media lapped up. Not saying that partisan advertising will ever go away, but the NDP-Greens may well direct such advertising through alternative platforms to reach the public.

The mass media would be wise to not forget the hand that feeds them.

Once the NDP/Greens take over as government and stop buying all that government advertising that Christy and her clowns are, the Post Media group here in B.C. may have to close their doors. given all the money the B.C. Lieberals our tax dollars as government advertising kept those bastards afloat. Oh, well what goes around, comes around. I'll be sorry for those who loose their jobs, but the corporate organization, they'll find a way to get a tax return on closing the business or they may keep it going so they can use it as a write off.
