It's too late for mail, but the deadline for direct drop-offs is 4:30pm, today, Friday Aug 5th, 2011.
There are BC Service Centers all over the province where you can drop off your fire extinguisher/completed referendum ballot.
Alternatively, if you live in Lower Lotuslandia you can even head to an Elections BC office and give your regards to Craig James as you spray fire retardant everywhere.

I and many, many, others, don't trust Crag James of Elections BC. Because, of his tampering with the wording on the recall. These screwed up referendum ballots, were the most asinine way to vote, that I have ever participated in. Craig James even hid the ballots, and that's very bad news.
I can't even make myself think...Campbell wouldn't have agreed with the referendum, if it couldn't be cheated.
We know damned well, the BC citizens don't want the HST. I guess it's just a wait and see.

The total unwillingness of pollsters to make any kind of call whatsoever is, in my opinion, an indicator of just how opaque this process has been and, clearly (see secret 'processing' warehouses, for example), will continue to be.
So, as to your point, even the non-conspiratorially minded, must ask themselves....
