CClark To CorpMedia...Ooooh...Look Over Here....Shiny!

So Christy TeleVision Network Stenos....

Was this the 'significant announcement' you deflector-wurlitzered earlier just as the HST and BC Ferries debacles flamed up and threatened to overwhelm the newscycle this morning?

Because if it was, isn't this something that Ms. Clark would have been told by Darth Vader weeks ago given that he has been in charge of the ward-heeling.

Hey!

How come none of the Stenos, and I'm not just talking about the finest of the fine folks from CTV here, are talking seriously about that?

****

Regardless all the lipstick that has been smeared on this pig, I must confess the Stenos did have me a little enthused for moment there.

In fact, I was actually half expecting a newly minted, perhaps even unelected, but entirely resurrected, 'lawyer' to be presented to us as the new Attorney General.

Like....

Say.....

Oh, I dunno....

Maybe.....

Bob--

Do you know Jill Sobule?

Even if you don't I think you will enjoy this.

I wasn't familiar with the lady, RossK, but you're right: I did enjoy the link!

Thanks . . . .

How many more days of pre-emptive significant announcements does she need to make it to the election?

No need to report on the boring corruption stuff being dug up by people like Alex Tsakumis if Christy promises a shiny new tidbit of 'news' every day.

"It's hard when you lose good people, but there are other good people that want to seek public office as well," Christy Clark said.

Was this statement an intentional snub against those MLAs who are currently sitting on the back benches of the BC Liberal Party?

Or is she suggesting that seeking of public office doesn't start till they're selected by the Premier to serve in her Cabinet.

Mr. K...There are also rumours flying around that Ian Black vacated his seat with a little armtwisting for one reason....

She(Christy Clark) needs a safer seat to run in this fall, she barely won against David Eby..

Ian Black of course sits in Cristy Clark`s old riding from 2005..

Curiouser and curiouser.

Cheers

Excellent point Grant.

Thanks.

I believe Mr. Black's riding overlaps Ms. Clark's old riding, correct?

Now - taking your supposition one step further - could it be that the braintrus was planning to whack Mr. Black from the very beginning when they demoted him?

During private conversation, one of the good people opposing BC Liberals had this view of their relationship with the corporate media:

"CBC in the bag, half of CTV on salary and the Global NW alliance to speak on behalf of government."

Almost sounds like a lyric to folks song Norm.

Ha!

Thanks.
