This Day In Clarkland...Rapture Mike, Part Deux!

When last we saw him Rapture Mike was, for all apparent intents and purposes, fully in his element in the presence of his favourite fearless flying leader not named Phil.

And now?

Which, means, I guess, that two plus two equaling five must be the new math of either Ms. Harry and/or all those kids in all those schools that have not yet been seismically upgraded thanks to the great and rapturous work of Mike and his fearless leader.

Or some such thing.

According to the ministry, there are 69 schools in Vancouver that have been assessed by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists B.C. (APEGBC) as having high seismic risk.

According to the ministry, given the complexity and significant number of projects in the district, combined with the need to maximize the number of safety upgrades within the available program funding, there is a unique need to address these projects in a more timely and cost-effective manner through a specialized seismic office.

Are these the same guys who are vying for the re-build contracts of the BC Legislative Buildings but the money is being spent on Site C?

It would have been a better photo if Sparkel Christy was also in this picture and they had all been wearing their always shiny new white 'get-er-done' hard hats.

Just in case - in the event of a non budgeted seismic event.

Good question!

Firstly.... RapMike's noggin looks pretty darned hard sans chapeau.

Secondly... Didn't you hear - Ms. Clark is off stills because it's now all about the videography.

I am disappointed that Pam Martin was`t there as well.

Apparently there is absolutely no truth to the non-existent rumour that Ms. Martin missed the photo-op because she couldn't find the elevator.
