From the CP:
A chief adviser to Premier Christy Clark during her successful 2013 election campaign has been named the new chairman of the board of BC Hydro.
Brad Bennett has served on several private and public boards, including the University of B.C. and Kelowna General Hospital.
Bennett's father served as B.C.'s premier and his grandfather, W.A.C Bennett, created BC Hydro when he led the province in the 1960s...
The plus side?
I guess we can breathe a sigh of relief that it's not Gordon Wilson.

Hi Ross thanks for all your posts esp. the Strategic Vote updates. This election is way too important for needed leadership change and too close to fritter away by splitting the vote all ways (always) to continued disaster.
Beer...if the skate sharpener is not her son's personal man servant (i.e. an independent) he might not have an agenda to grind - he may well represent the greater needs of BC Hydro's customers than Bennett (jr)Jr. Puppet Bennett is beholding to no one but Christy, the BC Liberal party and their one percenters. It would actually be very refreshing to see a truly experienced, competent, and arms length non patronage person appointed to such a key leadership position. Not going to happen with this lot of righteous rot.

Agreed re: election.
Although...Beer's post from last night was a punch in the why-voting-for-the-good-guys-really-matters-in-the-end gut.

Christy attributed the last BC Liberal victory to Brad Bennett's campaign management. Hard hat, LNG whopper after whopper---and let the NDP do the rest.
